Beach card

I've had this card sitting on my desk for weeks . . . . waiting for me to go buy a couple of sheets of sandpaper. I finally remembered when I was at my local hardware store and . . . voila! Here is my little beach card.

I saw a beach bag card somewhere (CMTH??? SCS??? can't remember) and had to try it. Thought it would work well with sandpaper (although I didn't tear my sandpaper very well . . .I might have to try it again). I also liked this little rope I used for the handle. Hope you enjoy!

OOoh, this is so cute! That sandpaper is fantastic, it looks just like sand! Great texture! Love the "relax" too! By the way, thank you sooo much for that super nice comment you left on my mom's quilting blog, that was so nice of you! =)

SO cute!! Love that you used sandpaper. The bucket is adorable.

Wish I had thought of that trick before I made my mom & dad go to the Gulf w/ ziploc bags, get me some nice clean sand and mail it up here to the land of the landlocked. {yes, I did do that}. LOL!
