This is a sympathy card I made yesterday for a customer's friend that passed suddenly. I used my SU felt flowers for the first time. I love the bright colors against the black and white of the CTMH Silhouette papers.
Welcome to my world - dirt, laughter, legos and a whole lotta paper and stamping!

Quick fix . . .
My mom came over on Thursday night and I knew I wasn't going to be able to do any scrapbooking/cardmaking while she was here, so I got my "quick fix" by decorating some of these cards that I bought in the $1 bin at Michaels.
These are the card packs as I bought them (they measure about 3x3) and they were $1 for each pack (green, blue and pink):
This is how I decorated each card:
And this is a layout I put together (not glued down yet!) of us razor clam digging in early May of this year. Razor clam digging is a family tradition and a very big deal! This was my youngest son's first razor clam adventure. I was razor clam digging at 5am the day I went into labor with my first son - I was admitted to the hospital at midnight and had him at 1:30 the next afternoon! So, there's no escaping the razor clamming in our family!
This little tag (that I've had in my stash for a long time!!!) says: "It isn't the big pleasures that count the most, it's making a great deal out of the little ones. Jean Webster" So true, especially when you have young kids! Nothing is bigger to them, than the little things!

A few layouts
Here are a few layouts I've done in the last couple of days. It's been so long since I've done any scrapbooking . . . I'm pretty happy I got something accomplished! These photos have been on my desk for MONTHS!!!
This one is my mom reading to the boys . . . I used CTMH's Enchanted paper pack. It's the first time I've used these little metal alphabets I got (a loooonnngg time ago!):
'
This one is of my youngest son wearing my husbands flourescent work vest . . .he loves to dress up like his dad! I copied this layout from the CTMH Summer Idea Book:
The last one conains some of the first photos I have of my oldest son . . . these are from his first year . . . he was so tiny . . . he just finished kindergarten . . . wow . . . a 1st grader now! Time flies . . .
Well . . . that's all for now! I'll try to get some more stuff done and posted before the week is out! I think it might be time for a little blog candy . . . maybe a SCRAP BINGO game . . .!! Stay tuned!

The monkey stamp . . .
I got it at a store called Stamper's Ink in Everett, Washington. It was made by Great Impressions. They sell their stamps in a lot of stores . . . hopefully, you can find a store near you. Here's the link to Great Impressions. The number on the stamp is #E506.
I FOUND IT online for you . . . at Memory Lane Stamps. They have a couple other cute ones too . . .summer monkey is pretty cute! Might have to get that one!
Thanks for all of your nice comments. If any of you do get it, please email me your projects! I'd love to see what you create with it!
Also . . . did you notice my countdown calendar in the sidebar! Sure seems like a long ways away . . . but I still have to get my passport (and a tan!)! LOL!!

Cute little monkey card
I just had to have this adorable little monkey stamp (about a year ago!) and this is the first time I've used it . . . now I'm so glad I got it!
I used my new pack of Expedition paper from CTMH. In fact, everything except the image is CTMH. . .
I used my CTMH watercolor pencils and blending pen to color in the image . . . isn't it adorable! I love it! Now if I just knew someone I could send it to . . . hmmmmm . . .

Father's Day card for my Dad
Teacher thank yous!
Here are the cards I made for Josh's kindergarten teacher and his piano teacher . . . Only one more week of school . . I can't believe it!
This one didn't really turn out how I wanted it to . . . but it's okay.
I love this one. I cased this one from SCS, but used a tag card I've had in my stash for years! It sure feels good to go back and use some old stash, doesn't it!
And this is just another thank you card I made . . . I thought it turned out really cute. I rarely use my SU tag stamps, but they sure are cute!

Thailand on the brain
I made these cards last night . . . I think I have Thailand on the brain! I've been favoring sunny, warm, beachy themed cards lately! Maybe because summer hasn't started in my neck of the world . . . dreary, cloudy days with temperatures still hanging in the 50's . . . YUCK!
I'll have to start a Thailand countdown in my sidebar! LOL!!!!
Anyway, enjoy the cards . . . . .
This one uses all CTMH product:
I just bought these cute little Making Memories brads and had to try them out!
And this one is not beachy, but I bought this paper at the new scrap store I discovered and had to try it. It comes in a 12x12 sheet and there are 2 each of 6 different "seed packet" type designs on it. I thought it was so cute and I think the card turned out just how I was imagining it. This the first time I've used my SU! Spiral Punch . . I love that punch!
